Dimitri Monstein is renowned as a virtuoso drummer, percussionist, and composer. Dimitri effortlessly navigates the realms of jazz, pop, and classical music with unparalleled grace and finesse.
Embarking on his musical odyssey from a young age, Dimitri honed his craft by studying drums and classical percussion. His journey led him to prestigious stages alongside luminaries like Andrea Bocelli and Daniel Hope, showcasing his exceptional talent on a global scale.
Beyond his own creative endeavors, Dimitri's rhythmic prowess has graced stages across the globe, from Europe to Asia. As a sought-after collaborator, he has shared the spotlight with icons like Daniel Hope, Nils Landgren and Mezzoforte enriching every musical journey with his unparalleled talent.
He played with the Swiss Army Big Band, Swiss Jazz Orchestra, Zurich Jazz Orchestra and Zurich Chamber Orchestra. Further he is the musical director for the well-known shows Salto & Ohlala from Gregory Knie in Zurich Switzerland.
