Yamaha actively approached him, when he was using a telecaster model. He made several such requests as "no need for a long sustain" and "a beautiful sound that reverberates in a musical way." The Yamaha PACIFICA1611MS was created to answer all of his needs. Since then, Mike Stern takes his Yamaha PACIFICA1611MS wherever and whenever he plays live.
Mike Stern's signature has been refreshed with Yamaha's exclusive wood treatment and finish. IRA (Initial Response Acceleration) technology shakes off the stress often found in new guitars and make them extremely vibrant and responsive. One-piece Maple neck is oil-finished for better comfort. PAC1611MS comes with a certificate personally signed by Mike to prove this guitar is perfectly crafted in his specification.
Andere Farben

Versatile musician, guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer and arranger Steve Lukather was born in Los Angeles on October 21 in 1957. Before his father bought him a guitar and a copy of Meet the Beatles at the age of seven, Luke started to play drums and keyboards. "I love keyboards, I write all my songs on keyboards except for the real obvious 'burn' tunes. I find it much easier, you have all these great synth sounds and you play a C chord and it's sounds like God, and you start thinking melodies as opposed to chops."(Lukather, 1986).
